Mercat Success

Kirkcaldy, Kinghorn and Burntisland

Members of the Kirkcaldy , Kinghorn and Burntisland Neighbourhood Watch Association had a successful day when they set up a promotional stall in Kirkcaldy’s Mercat shopping Centre on  Thursday 23 June.

Assisted by constables from Community Policing, they demonstrated various personal safety alarms and gave out  free publications on various aspects of personal safety, property protection and  the  check list that can be seen  in the “property and personal” page of this website.

Chairman Charles Mathieson commented “ We enjoyed our day, had lots of interest from the public and quite a few people interested in starting a neighbourhood watch in their area.”
